- Well, I managed to install the new 33.6 chip in my 28.8 and all seems
- to be well. I still have not managed a connection faster than 26,400
- but I have noticed that the connections I get now are a bit speedier,
- or maybe it just seems that way.
-
- Here's the problem: I can no longher adjust the sound of the mdoem. I
- could, easily, before I made the upgrade. Now I either get no sound
- or very loud. I'm running Win95 and a PPP connection. I tried addinf
- the L0 or L1 command in the Advanced tab but no luck. It's as if
- Win95 ignores the extra strings. Any thoughts?
